Sodium lauryl polyether sulfate (SLES) is an anionic surfactant with excellent properties, which can be prepared from coconut. Molecular formula R(OCH2CH2)nOSO3Na (R is 12 alkyl), light yellow viscous liquid, easily soluble in water, with excellent decontamination, emulsification and foaming properties. It has good thickening characteristics and foaming capacity, for example, adding 2% to 5% sodium chloride can easily increase the viscosity of the SLES system.
