Ursolic acid plays three major roles in cosmetics:

1.Strong antioxidant capacity:

Ursolic acid can absorb ultraviolet rays to prevent hyperpigmentation caused by ultraviolet radiation. It has a strong antioxidant effect and the ability to scavenge free radicals, which has a positive effect on the human body's anti-aging, skin blemishes and pigmentation. 2.Inhibit melanin production: Ursolic acid can inhibit melanin production by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, maintain the physiological activity of epidermal cells and promote cell metabolism, and play a comprehensive nutritional and whitening effect of the skin.

3.Repairing the skin barrier: Ursolic acid improves the skin barrier function and rejuvenates the skin by increasing the content of ceramides in human epidermal keratinocytes and collagen in epidermal fibroblasts.
