Glucose is the most widely distributed and most important monosaccharide in nature. It is a polyhydroxy aldehyde. Pure glucose is a colorless crystal and tastes sweet, but not as sweet as sucrose. Easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether. The natural aqueous glucose solution rotates to the right, so it belongs to "glucose".Dextrose monohydrate is also called whole sugar or food grade glucose. It is a powdered starch sugar with a DE value of more than 90% made from high-quality starch through amylase liquefaction, glucanase saccharification, refining, concentration, and drying.

1. Industrial industry

Glucose is made by hydrolysis of starch. In the 1960s, microbial enzymes were used to produce glucose. In production, the raw materials do not need to be refined, acid and pressure resistant equipment is not needed, the sugar liquid has no bitter taste, and the sugar yield is high. In industry, a large amount of glucose is used as raw material to synthesize vitamin C (ascorbic acid).

2. In the food industry

Glucose can be processed by isomerase to produce fructose, especially fructose syrup containing 42% fructose. Its sweetener and sucrose have become important products in the current sugar industry.

3. Health Products Industry

Glucose is an indispensable nutrient for metabolism in organisms. The heat released by the oxidation reaction is an important energy source for human life activities. It can be directly used as a reducing agent in the food and health products industry, printing and dyeing industry, and as a reducing agent in the mirror industry and hot water bottle silver plating process.
