Polyformaldehyde is a solid formaldehyde with high formaldehyde content, in the form of solid particles, easy to store and transport. It can become formaldehyde vapor at a higher temperature, which is easy to replace high concentration formaldehyde to participate in various reactions, which is conducive to chemical synthesis and other industrial applications, especially in the synthesis of anhydrous formaldehyde as a raw material, and is widely used.
