Hydroxyethyl Cellulose HEC Yida Suppier Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose For Water Based Paints And Latex Paints

    Yida hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)

    * Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) has two components: one is cellulose, and the other is hydroxyethyl branched chain. Yida hydroxyethyl cellulose is purified by the reaction of cellulose and sodium hydroxide, the formation of alkaline fiber colloid, adding ethylene oxide in the colloid production, after the modification of production. Yida hydroxyethyl cellulose can be thickened, bonded, dispersed, stable and other functions, and can retain water, form a film and provide protective colloid.
    * It is widely used in the fields of textured paint, latex paint and true stone paint.
    * Small addition amount and low unit price can reduce production cost

    (1) Hydroxyethyl cellulose can provide excellent leveling properties without sagging or graining
    (2) The thickening efficiency of hydroxyethyl cellulose is not affected by the pH value of the system, and it has excellent compatibility with other component materials such as pigments, additives, salts or electrolytes
    (3) Hydroxyethyl cellulose can improve splash resistance
    (4) Hydroxyethyl cellulose has excellent anti-sagging properties
    (5) Adding hydroxyethyl cellulose can reduce the use of associative thickeners and reduce costs
    (6) Hydroxyethyl cellulose is easy to disperse and can effectively prevent caking
    (7) The use method of hydroxyethyl cellulose is simple. It can be dissolved in hot or cold water with stirring equipment, and the solution can be directly added to the product
    (8) Hydroxyethyl cellulose will not reduce the surface tension of the product and will not generate unnecessary foam during production

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) consists of two parts: one is cellulose, and the other is hydroxyethyl branched chain. LEAD hydroxyethyl cellulose is produced by reacting purified cellulose with sodium hydroxide to form an alkaline colloid, adding ethylene oxide to the colloid, and then modifying it. SKAC hydroxyethyl cellulose can thicken, bind, disperse, stabilize, etc., and can retain water, form a film and provide a protective colloid.

Hydroxyethyl cellulose powder is a stable though hygroscopicmaterial.
Aqueous solutions of hydroxyethyl cellulose are relatively stableat pH 2–12 with the viscosity of solutions being largely unaffected. However, solutions are less stable below pH 5 owing to hydrolysis. At high pH, oxidation may occur.
Increasing the temperature reduces the viscosity of aqueoushydroxyethyl cellulose solutions. However, on cooling, the originalviscosity is restored. Solutions may be subjected to fre
