Triethylene glycol butyl ether is a solvent with good performance. It has the following multiple uses: used as solvent and colorant; used as metal cleaning agent to remove oil, paint and other contaminants in metal surface treatment; cleaning agent for integrated circuits and electronic components; pesticide dispersant; organic synthesis intermediate; mild and non-irritating household liquid detergent; fiber wetting agent; resin plasticizer.

Triethylene glycol monobutyl ether, chemical formula is C10H22O4. It is a transparent liquid, easily soluble in water, stable at room temperature and pressure, and its decomposition products are carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. It is irritating to eyes and skin, and is mainly used in organic synthesis.
