    Purpose:
    1. Plastic additives: tri (butoxyethyl) phosphate can be used as a plasticizer for plastics, which can improve the flexibility, ductility and cold resistance of plastics.
    2. Coating additives: It can also be used as a stabilizer in coatings, which can improve the performance and durability of coatings.
    3. Printing ink: tri (butoxyethyl) phosphate can be used as a plasticizer and solubilizer for printing ink, which can improve the fluidity and softness of ink.
    4. Flame retardant: tri (butoxyethyl) phosphate has good flame retardant properties and can be used as an additive for flame retardant plastics and coatings.

    Synthesis method:
    Tri (butoxyethyl) phosphate can be synthesized by the following steps:
    1. Take butanol and ethylene glycol to react under appropriate chemical conditions to produce dihydroxybutyl ether.
    2. Reaction of dihydroxybutylethyl ether with phosphorus trichloride to produce tri (butoxyethyl) ether phosphate ester.
    3. Tri (butoxyethyl) ether phosphate is reacted with a base to obtain tri (butoxyethyl) phosphate.
