Function:

Chlortetracycline HCL is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug. It is active in the inhibition and treatment of white dysentery, enteritis, pheumonia, typhoid, paratyphoid, cholera etc. in poultry and livestock.

Chlortetracycline HCL can also promote the permeation and absorption of the nourish elements, stimulating hypophysis to produce hormone and adjusting appetites. It results in obvious growth promotion for poultry, livestock and so on, also greatly increases the reward of feed.

 Appplication:

1. Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride is a tetracycline with broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiprotozoal activity.  
2. Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride is bacteriostatic and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing the addition of amino acids to the growing peptide chain. 
3.Chlortetracycline HCL can also promote the permeation and absorption of the nourish elements, stimulating hypophysis to produce hormone and adjusting appetites. It results in obvious growth promotion for poultry, livestock and so on, also greatly increases the reward of feed.
4. The bacterial spectrum is the same as tetracycline, and it is slightly more effective against penicillin and Staphylococcus aureus than tetracycline. It is mainly used to treat conjunctivitis and trachoma.
