  • Description

Aspartic acid can be used to synthesize sweeteners, and is used in medicine to treat heart disease, as a liver function promoter, ammonia detoxifier, fatigue reliever, and amino acid infusion component. Aspartic acid is commonly used in artificial sweeteners such as aspartame. Each molecule of aspartic acid metabolites in the body is one molecule of aspartic acid, one molecule of phenylalanine, and one molecule of methanol. In addition, it can be used to synthesize potassium aspartate, which is used for hypokalemia and arrhythmias caused by digitalis poisoning.
