What is Dulaglutide ?

Dulaglutide (trade name: Trulicity) is a long-acting GLP-1 analog developed by Eli Lilly for subcutaneous injection once per week. It was approved in the United States for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in September 2014. From the structural point of view, dulaglutide replaces Gly at position 8 of GLP-1 (7-37) chain for Ala, Glu at position 22 for Gly, and ChemicalbookGly at position 36 for Arg, with a long average biological half-life.
