Product Function:
1. Antioxidant effect
The fruit extract of Sorbus glandularis contains polyphenolic compounds such as anthocyanins, caffeic acid, and caffeic acid derivatives, all of which have strong antioxidant activity, including cyanidin 3-O- β- D-galactoside is its main antioxidant component.

2. Anti inflammatory effect
The anthocyanin flavonoids in the juice of Sorbus glandularis have significant inhibitory effects on 5-hydroxylamine and histamine induced toe swelling in rats.

3. Hypoglycemic effect
The extract of Sorbus nigra L. can stimulate the uptake of glucose by PC12 cells and L929 cells, and significantly reduce the blood glucose level of streptozotocin (STZ) - induced diabetes rats and normal rats. In the clinical application study, it was found that three months after taking the fruit juice of Sorbus nigricans, the fasting blood glucose of patients with type II diabetes was significantly reduced, and the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), lipids and total cholesterol in patients' plasma were also reduced, which indicated that Sorbus nigricans fruit could be used for diet treatment of patients with diabetes.

4. Liver protection effect
