Product Overview

Magnesium Oxide (E530) is a high-purity white fine powder of food grade. It is a high-content magnesium source widely used for mineral fortification in dietary supplements and food powder blends. It also acts as alkaline pH adjuster and anti-caking agent in solid powder formulations. It features high magnesium content, strong alkalinity, stable physical property and good flow-promoting performance, mainly applied in dietary supplements, multivitamin and mineral premixes and breakfast cereals. It is insoluble in water and suitable for solid food systems.

Main Functions

1.Magnesium Fortification Function: High content magnesium source for mineral enrichment in dietary supplements and food powder blends, delivering high magnesium at low addition level.

Applications

Food & Dietary Supplement Industry: Magnesium Oxide is mainly applied in dietary supplement tablets, hard capsules, multivitamin and mineral powder premixes, breakfast cereals and solid nutrition powders. As a high-content magnesium source, it delivers target magnesium nutrition at low dosage. It also serves as alkaline pH adjuster to buffer acidity and as anti-caking agent to keep powder blends free-flowing during production, filling and storage.
