    1. Brightens skin tone Inhibits melanin formation Ascorbyl Glucoside is converted into Vitamin C. When it enters the skin cells, it significantly reduces melanin formation by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase. Inhibiting tyrosinase results in a reduction of dopaquinone, an intermediate substance in the synthesis of melanin. Ascorbic acid glucoside is also known as VC glucoside. Its scientific name is o-a-d-glucopyranosyl-l-ascorbic acid (abbreviated as aa-2g). It is a derivative of VC. Its relative molecular weight is 338.27 and its melting point is 158.5 ~ 159.5 ℃. Because VC has the disadvantages of poor stability and easy oxidation, the alternative product of VC, ascorbic acid glucoside, is derived.
