Use:

1. Adenosine can be used to treat angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, coronary insufficiency, arteriosclerosis, essential hypertension, cerebrovascular disorders, sequelae of stroke, progressive muscular atrophy, etc.
2. Endogenous neurotransmitter. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used to make adenosine arabinoside (Ara-AR); adenosine triphosphate (ATChemicalbookP); coenzyme A (COASH) and its series of products cyclic adenosine monophosphate (CAMP) and other drugs.
3. Adenosine induces apoptosis of human leukemia HL-60 cells. It also has anti-arrhythmic properties. A neurotransmitter that acts as the preferred endogenous agonist at all subtypes of adenosine A receptors.
