Applications:

1) Plastic Materials‌:

Benzophenone-8 (UV-24) is suitable for plastic materials such as allyl diglycol carbonate, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, unsaturated resin, polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, fiber resin, etc. It has the characteristics of light colour, non-toxicity, good compatibility, low migration, easy processing, and good light and heat stability.

‌2) Lens Production‌:

Benzophenone-8 (UV-24) has excellent compatibility with CR-39 resin and is suitable for the production of UV-400 series lenses.

Benzophenone-8 can strongly and widely absorb ultraviolet rays and almost does not absorb visible light, it is suitable for making transparent and UV-proof lenses.

‌3) Other Plastics and Resins‌:

Benzophenone-8 (UV-24) is also suitable for plastics and resin materials such as ABS resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane, melamine resin, cellulose resin, etc.

‌4) Paints and Coatings‌:

In paints, Benzophenone-8 (UV-24) also has a good light stabilization effect, which can prevent the paint from fading or aging due to ultraviolet radiation.
