      Product Detail

Albendazole is a broad-spectrum thiabendazole insecticide for human and animal use. It can inhibit the growth and reproduction of the insect body. By inhibiting the intestinal tract of the insect body or absorbing proteins in the cells, the insect body can not ingest the sugar it needs to survive, and the endogenous glycogen of the insect body is exhausted. It also inhibits the fumarate reductase system and prevents the production of adenosine triphosphate, which makes the worm unable to survive and reproduce, and eventually the Chemicalbook worm gradually dies due to energy exhaustion. Albendazole can completely kill the eggs of hookworm and whipworm and partially kill the eggs of roundworm, and can also kill and expel various nematodes parasitic in animals, and also has obvious killing and repelling effects on tapeworms and cysticercus. It is suitable for the treatment of hydatid disease (echinococcosis) and nervous system infection (cysticercosis) caused by the worm in pork. It is also used for the treatment of hookworm, roundworm, pinworm, trichotrichodes, tapeworm, whipworm and strongyloidiasis of fecal species.

Albendazole is a carbamate ester that is methyl 1H-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate substituted by a propylsulfanyl group at position 5. It is commonly used in the treatment of parasitic worm infestations. It has a role as a tubulin modulator, a microtubule-destabilising agent and an anthelminthic drug. It is a carbamate ester, a benzimidazolylcarbamate fungicide, an aryl sulfide and a member of benzimidazoles.|A benzimidazole broad-spectrum anthelmintic structurally related to mebendazole that is effective against many diseases. (From Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, 30th ed, p38)|Albendazole is an Anthelmintic. The mechanism of action of albendazole is as a Cytochrome P450 1A Inducer.|Albendazole is an anthelmintic agent used predominantly in treatment of echinococcosis, a parasitic worm that causes cysts in liver and lung. Albendazole therapy is commonly associated with mild and transient serum enzyme elevations and rarely can lead to clinically apparent acute liver injury.|Albendazole is a broad-spectrum, synthetic benzimidazole-derivative anthelmintic. Albendazole interferes with the reproduction and survival of helminths by inhibiting the formation of microtubules from tubulin. This leads to an impaired uptake of glucose, a depletion of glycogen stores, and results in the worm's death. Albendazole is used in the treatment of dog and pork tapeworm-causing diseases, including hydatid disease and neurocysticercosis. Albendazole may also be used to treat a variety of other roundworm infections.
