S9 surfactant Pluracare 1307 Prill (Tetronic 1307) not only has good interfacial activity, but also has the advantages of both anionic and cationic surfactants, but also has good emulsifying ability, dispersing ability and antistatic effect. Compared with other surfactants, amphoteric surfactants are not easily affected by inorganic electrolytes, have no cloud point phenomenon, and do not form hydrophobic surfaces no matter they are adsorbed on the interface of positive or negative charges. These characteristics make it more widely used in many fields than Nonionic surfactants. Therefore, the application frequency of Pluracare 1307 Prill (Tetronic 1307) in rapid diagnosis test strip products is slightly higher than that of other surfactants. This is one of the reasons why R & D personnel prefer this surfactant. However, the production and research of zwitterionic surfactants started late, and the variety of zwitterionic surfactants is far less than that of Nonionic surfactants, which limits their application.

The addition of a small amount of Pluracare 1307 Prill (Tetronic 1307) to the solution system can change the interfacial state obviously. It has fixed hydrophilic and lipophilic groups and can be arranged directionally on the surface of the solution.

It can reduce the absorption of detected substance and gold standard by NC film, the background is clean and there is no T-line reflection phenomenon.
