PNC-27 is an anti-cancer peptide that mainly induces cancer cell membrane lysis by binding to HDM-2 protein, thereby killing cancer cells.

PNC-27, a 32-residue peptide containing an HDM-2 binding domain and a cell-penetrating peptide (CPP) leader sequence, kills cancer cells, but not normal cells, by binding to plasma membrane-associated HDM-2 and inducing pore formation leading to tumor cell lysis and necrosis.
