Attribute: Nortetracycline, also known as demecycline, demethylchlorotetracycline, etc., is a tetracycline antibiotic produced by fermentation of Streptomyces coelicolor. It is used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient and has a similar antibacterial spectrum to streptomycin, with stronger antibacterial effects and greater stability than tetracycline.

Dimensin hydrochloride has antibacterial activity similar to that of streptomycin, and its stability is better than that of streptomycin. It is mainly used in clinical practice to treat diseases such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, bacterial dysentery, brucellosis, and scarlet fever in children.
