The anthocyanin extract is primarily extracted from ripe blueberry fruit. Blueberry anthocyanin is a natural water-soluble flavonoid, widely preferred by formulators of dietary supplements and nutraceutical products across Europe and North America.

Blueberry anthocyanin contains a rich complex of anthocyanin monomers, delivering potent antioxidant properties. It is one of the most popular natural plant extracts for health-focused formulations. Blueberry anthocyanin is water-soluble. Its color changes with pH value, turning red in acidic environments and purple to blue in neutral or alkaline conditions.

For supplement production, it should be protected from high temperature and strong light during processing and storage to avoid degradation of active ingredients.
