    poloxamer is a generic name for polyoxyethylene polyoxyethylene propylene copolymer. The product produced by the German BASF company is called Pluronic, in which the polyoxyethylene chain has a relative hydrophilicity and the polyoxyepropylene chain has a relative lipophilicity, so it is a non-ionic polymer surfactant, which is mainly used as an emulsifier and solubilizer in pharmaceutical preparations.
