THIXON 715-B Rubber-to-Substrate Bonding Adhesive /Two-Component, 0.75 KG

THIXON™ 715-EF&B is a high-performance, two-component adhesive designed for bonding nitrile rubber (NBR), polyacrylates (ACM), millable polyurethanes, and epichlorohydrin (ECO, CO) elastomers to various metallic and plastic substrates. This adhesive is ideal for applications requiring excellent resistance to heat, water, solvents, and oils.

Key Features:

• Versatile Bonding: Bonds to both metallic and plastic substrates with proper surface treatment.

• Excellent Resistance: Provides strong resistance to heat, water, solvents, and oils.

• Easy Application: Can be applied via spraying, dipping, or brushing.

• Long Shelf Life: 24 months for THIXON™ 715-EF and 12 months for THIXON™ 715-B when stored properly.

• Prebake Resistance: Requires prebaking at 130°C for 10-15 minutes to avoid sweeping during transfer or injection molding.

Application:

• Mixing Ratio: 100 parts THIXON™ 715-EF to 3 parts THIXON™ 715-B.

• Dilution: Use a 50:50 mixture of Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) and Ethanol for dilution.

• Drying Time: 30 minutes at ambient temperature.

• Recommended Film Thickness: 3-5 µm for optimal results.

Storage & Handling:

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight.

• Keep containers tightly closed and grounded before opening.

Theoretical Coverage:
When applied at a dry film thickness of 10 microns, THIXON™ 715-EF&B covers approximately 61 m²/kg.
