• MEGUM™ 5382 is a high-performance, cover coat adhesive designed for bonding rubber compounds to metals and other rigid substrates during vulcanization. It is highly effective for both difficult-to-bond and soft compounds used in NVH applications.

  Key Features:

• Exceptional environmental resistance when combined with a primer
• Compatible with a wide variety of rubber compounds, including NR, EPDM, and NBR
• Suitable for bonding to hot and cold rolled steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and thermoplastics
• Excellent performance at high temperatures and exposure to boiling water, salt fog, and hydraulic fluids

Application Methods:

• Can be applied by brushing, dipping, or spraying
• Recommended cure temperatures: 130°C to 190°C (265°F to 375°F)
• Typical drying time: 30 minutes at room temperature

Handling and Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and ignition sources
• Keep containers tightly sealed
