    Epoxy soybean oil is a compound obtained through the epoxidation reaction of soybean oil. It has the following properties:
    Epoxidation degree: The epoxidation degree of epoxidized soybean oil is usually between 3% and 6%, and can be adjusted as needed.
    Viscosity: Due to the epoxidation reaction, the viscosity of epoxidized soybean oil is generally slightly higher than that of soybean oil.
    Chemical stability: Epoxidized soybean oil has good chemical stability and can remain stable under certain temperature and pressure conditions.
    Epoxy soybean oil has a wide range of application fields. It is mainly used in the production of epoxy resin and in areas such as coatings, paints, and adhesives. It also plays an important role in industries such as construction, aerospace, automobiles, electronics, and furniture. The characteristics of epoxy soybean oil include low volatility and good adhesion, as well as excellent coating performance and resistance to chemical corrosion.
    The process of preparing epoxy soybean oil typically involves reacting soybean oil with peroxides and adding catalysts for epoxidation. Commonly used catalysts include hydrogen peroxide, ammonium persulfate, and sodium persulfate, etc. During the reaction, it is necessary to control the reaction temperature and time to achieve the desired degree of epoxidation and product quality.

    Epoxy soybean oil (ESO), a type of organic compound, has the chemical formula (RC2H2OR'COO)3C3H5. It is a light yellow viscous oily liquid at room temperature. It is non-toxic. Its boiling point is 150℃ (0.53 kPa). It is soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons, but insoluble in water. It has excellent heat resistance, light resistance and compatibility. It is often used as a plasticizer in polyvinyl chloride products, especially suitable for transparent polyvinyl chloride products, food packaging products and other non-toxic products.

    ESO plasticizer derivatives such as ESO pentaerythritol esters, ESO propylene glycol esters, ESO ethylene glycol esters, etc. Some amine derivatives of epoxy soybean oil acrylate compounds and epoxy soybean oil acrylate compounds can be used to produce certain polyurethane derivatives, and these derivatives themselves can be used as useful coatings, adhesives, molding components, etc., or can be combined with other materials to form components with the same usefulness. By further obtaining epoxy esters from the epoxidation and acetylation of vegetable oil fatty acids, the epoxy value is equal to or less than 8. It is used as a PVC plasticizer, which can improve the properties of PVC polymers. This renewable compound can reduce costs. It is used as a main plasticizer to improve the properties of composite PVC, achieving the most advanced and better physical properties, such as having higher mixing efficiency and flexibility at low temperatures, to improve resistance to aliphatic solvent extraction and improve resistance to ultraviolet degradation.
    PVC is the most famous and widely used vinyl plastic. PVC is usually plasticized with plasticizers. A large amount of PVC is usually called rigid PVC and is used in pipes and similar applications. High chemical resistance is necessary. The forms of plasticized PVC are widely used in films, cable sheaths, molding, fixed products, conveyor belts, toys and hoses. Plasticized PVC is also used as a substitute for leather and can be used in clothing and fabrics.
    Epoxidized vegetable oils have been widely used in industry, such as ESO giving products good mechanical properties, weather resistance and electrical properties. In addition to being widely used in plastic windows and doors, pipes, interior decoration materials, wires and cables and films, it can also be used to make high-quality photographic films and as a special plasticizer for making sealing pads on refrigerator doors, and as a production plasticizer for making refrigerators. ESO is used as an auxiliary plasticizer and has excellent heat processing and flexibility. After testing PVC polymers at typical extrusion processing temperatures, ESO has been found to be suitable for typical PVC stabilizers' formulations and helps to increase the level by 2% to 3% in existing technology. To further improve high-temperature stability, zinc, calcium stearate metal soaps and ESO can be added to form composite heat stabilizers.
