3. The chemical utilization of isobutylene mainly includes the utilization of mixed C4 extracted isobutylene and the processing and utilization of high purity isobutylene. The former is mainly used to produce methyl tert-butyl ether and tert-butyl alcohol. The latter can be used to produce butyl rubber, polyisobutylene, tert-butylphenol, antioxidants and other organic chemical raw materials and fine chemical products.

Applications:
1. Isobutylene is an important raw material for synthetic rubber and can be used to prepare polyisobutylene and copolymers of synthetic rubber.
2. It can also be used to prepare ethylene propylene rubber, olefinic acids and olefinic amines and other organic compounds.
3. Isobutylene can also be used as a fuel additive.

Preparation method:
Isobutene is mainly obtained through the cracking of by-products generated during the petroleum refining process. It can also be prepared by the following methods:
1. Through the dehydrogenation reaction of isopentane.
2. Through the dehydration reaction of isobutanol.

Safety Information:
1. Isobutylene is irritating and can cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Appropriate protective equipment should be worn during operation.
