What is Amprolium HCl/Amprolium Hydrochloride ?

Amprolium Hydrochloride (INN, trade names Amprovine, Amprolium, Amprol, Anticoccid) is a coccidiostat used in poultry.
Amprolium HCL is a thiamine analogue and blocks the thiamine transporter of Eimeria species. By blocking thiamine uptake it prevents carbohydrate synthesis.

Application

Amprolium hydrochloride is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chicken coccids, but it is forbidden for laying hens.It also can be applied to mink, ox and sheep.

1. Amprolium hcl is used as an anti-coccidol, and is effective against chicken Eimeria coccidium, soft and heap-shaped Eimeriacoccidium, lamb and calf coccidium.

2. Anti-coccidiosis drugs, good effect, less residue, can prevent the treatment of chicken coccidiosis, and can promote growth.

3. Against coccidiosis.
