Sodium polyanethol sulfonate (SPS)

2. Core applications

① Anticoagulant enrichment of blood culture

- Inhibit complement and serum bactericidal activity, increase the positive rate of fastidious bacteria such as mycobacteria and Legionella by 20–40%

- Patented formulas have been written into "Mycobacterium Enrichment Fluid" (CN201310384401.7) and "Legionella Biphasic Culture Medium" (CN201811377530.2)

② Electroplating copper brightener
- Compounded with DPS, EXP2887, and non-ionic surfactants, a functional coating with mirror brightness and excellent leveling can be obtained
- Suitable for PCB high-dispersion acid copper plating and decorative hardware plating

③ Metal corrosion inhibition and water treatment
- The corrosion inhibition rate of carbon steel is >90% at 50-200 ppm, and it has a good synergistic effect with phosphonates and zinc salts

④ Functional polymer/sensing material
- It can form a fluorescence quenching complex with Fe³⁺ for highly selective detection of trivalent iron ions
- As an anionic polyelectrolyte, it is used in layer-by-layer self-assembly (LbL) films and antistatic coatings
