  Fluorescent whitening agent OB-1, 2,2-(4,4-diphenylethylene) bisbenzoxazole, is a yellow crystalline substance with a melting point of 359-362℃, insoluble in water, odorless, stable performance, and a maximum absorption spectrum wavelength of 374nm. It has strong fluorescence and a fluorescence emission wavelength of 434nm. Fluorescent whitening agent OB-1 is a high-efficiency fluorescent whitening agent for polyester fibers. It is also widely used in plastics such as ABS, PS, HIPS, PC, PP, PE, EVA and hard PVC. It has excellent whitening effect, excellent thermal stability, and very little addition.
Fluorescent whitening agents can absorb invisible ultraviolet light (wavelength range is about 360-380nm) and convert it into blue light or purple visible light with a longer wavelength, thereby compensating for the unwanted yellowish color in the matrix, and reflecting more visible light in the range of 400-600nm than the original incident wavelength, making the product appear whiter, brighter and more colorful.
