Description

HATU is a commonly used peptide condensation reagent used in peptide bond reactions between carboxyl and amino groups. Compared to other similar condensation agents (e.g., HBTU), it reacts faster and is less susceptible to racemization. HATU is used in amidation reactions under mild conditions and with high yields. It can react with many sterically hindered condensation agents and is widely used in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical intermediates.
