Mechanism of action
Peramivir acts on the active site of neuraminidase of influenza virus, inhibits the activity of neuraminidase, prevents the release and spread of influenza virus from infected cells, thereby inhibiting the replication and spread of influenza virus in the human body, achieving the purpose of treating influenza.

Clinical application
Applicable diseases: Mainly used to treat influenza A and B, especially for severe influenza and patients resistant to other anti-influenza 
Dosage form and usage: The common dosage form is peramivir for injection, which is usually administered by intravenous drip. For pediatric patients, there are also dosage forms such as peramivir sodium chloride injection, and the dosage can be calculated according to the weight of the child.

Adverse reactions
Generally speaking, peramivir is well tolerated, but some patients may experience some adverse reactions, such as diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, insomnia, etc.
A small number of patients may experience serious adverse reactions, such as allergic reactions, arrhythmias, abnormal liver function, etc., but these situations are relatively rare.
