Product Detail Yellowish brown crystalline or lumpy solid, odorless, astringent. Melting point 37℃. Boiling point 280～285℃. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether. Its aqueous solution is strongly acidic, can make protein coagulation. It is deliquescent and can be deliquesced into reddish brown liquid in air.

1.Performance and use

Ferricchloridehexahydrate brownish-yellow crystals, odorless, astringent, strong hygroscopicity and deliquescence, can be deliquesced into reddish-brown liquid in the air. Very soluble in water, aqueous solution is strongly acidic, can make protein coagulation. Soluble in ethanol, acetone, also soluble in liquid sulfur dioxide, ethylamine, aniline, insoluble in glycerol, phosphorus trichloride.
