Thiourea dioxide is a new environmentally friendly alternative to sodium hydrosulfite. It boasts strong reducibility, remarkable effectiveness, good thermal stability and easy storage/transportation, with no environmental pollution during application.

Applications

Textile Dyeing & Printing Auxiliary: Widely used in dyeing with vat dyes and sulfur dyes, bleaching of wool and real silk, reductive cleaning of disperse dyes, stripping of defective dyeing with direct or reactive dyes, and dyeing vat cleaning.
Pulp Bleaching Agent: Applied in pulp bleaching and waste paper deinking in the papermaking industry.
Other Uses: Serves as a catalyst and stabilizer for synthetic resins in the polymer materials industry; also used in fine chemicals such as organic synthetic photosensitive materials, pharmaceuticals, medicines and fragrances, as well as in the recovery and separation of precious metals.
