4. Physical and chemical properties: colorless transparent liquid or white crystal. The relative density of the crystal is 1.679, easily soluble in water, and the solubility is 103.3g/100ml water at 100℃. Insoluble in alcohol, ether, slightly soluble in propanone. When heated to 150℃, it decomposes to form ammonium sulfite, sulfur, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and water. Very unstable in air, stable in ammonia.
