Cocamidopropyl betaine is a mixture that typically contains several main components in different amounts: Decylaminopropyl betaine (abbreviated as C10), lauraminopropyl betaine (abbreviated as C12), myristiaminopropyl betaine (abbreviated as C14), palmitaminopropyl betaine (abbreviated as C16), stearaminopropyl betaine (abbreviated as C18), etc. Cocamidopropyl betaine, an organic compound, can be used as a surfactant.
