Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, CAS:9004-32-4,EINECS:265-995-8, HS Code:39123100, molecular formula: (C₆H₇O₂(OH)₂OCH₂COONa)ₙ) is a white or off-white fibrous powder or granule. It is produced from natural cotton pulp or wood pulp through alkalization and etherification reactions. We provide food grade, cosmetic grade and industrial grade products complying with GB, FCC and international industry standards. This product dissolves easily in cold and hot water, but is insoluble in common organic solvents. With excellent thickening, emulsifying, stabilizing, water-retention and adhesive properties, it is a versatile water-soluble polymer widely applied in food, daily chemicals, petroleum drilling, textile, papermaking and coating industries.
