      Product Detail

Rosmarinic Acid (CAS 20283-92-5) is a natural polyphenolic ester of caffeic acid and 3,4-dihydroxyphenyllactic acid, extracted from rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and other Lamiaceae herbs such as lemon balm, sage and perilla. Supplied as a fine brown to brownish-yellow powder with a characteristic herbal odour, it is one of the most effective plant-derived antioxidants available on an industrial scale.

Functionally it combines strong free-radical scavenging and metal-chelating activity with documented anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiviral performance. In food and beverage manufacturing it delays lipid oxidation and extends shelf life as a clean-label alternative to synthetic antioxidants; in dietary supplements and nutraceuticals it is formulated for antioxidant, joint-comfort and respiratory-support products; in pharmaceutical development it serves as an active botanical reference standard; and in personal care it is used in anti-ageing, soothing and after-sun formulations for its anti-irritant and photo-protective effect on skin.

Available in 5%, 10% and 20% assay grades (5% currently in stock, higher grades to order). Supplied FOB Shanghai in 25KG drums, 450KG per pallet, minimum order quantity 25KG. Free samples, COA, TDS and SDS available on request. Regular production and stable lead times of 7-15 days after order confirmation.
