      Subcutaneous . The recommended starting dose is 2.5 mg subcutaneously once weekly, increasing to 5 mg after 4 weeks, and then in 2.5 mg increments based on treatment response and tolerance, up to a maximum dose of 15 mg subcutaneously once weekly. 

Can be taken at any time of day, with or without food, into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, rotating the site with each.

                                                                        Storage conditions 

      Should be stored in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C, away from light.

         If required, each single-dose pen can be stored unrefrigerated at a temperature not exceeding 30°C for up to 21 days, but once stored at room temperature it should not be returned to the refrigerator. If not used within 21 days after removal from the refrigerator, it should be discarded. Do not freeze tilpotide and iffrozen, do not use.
