    Rosmarinic acid is isolated and extracted from rosemary, dissolved in water, a natural phenolic acid compound widely present in plants such as the Lamiaceae and Verbenaceae families. It has various biological activities such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial, and is widely used in animal health, feed additives, medicine, cosmetics,  dietary supplement and other fields.

      Product Mechanism of Rosmarinic acid   


    Rosmarinic acid exerts its effects through multi-target synergistic mechanisms: in terms of antioxidant activity, it can scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS) while upregulating the Nrf2 signaling pathway to enhance the activity of endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px); in terms of anti-inflammatory effects, it inhibits the activation and nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) and blocks the MAPK signaling pathway, thereby reducing the transcription and release of pro-inflammatory factors such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β; it also possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.

    Rosmarinic acid is primarily derived naturally from aromatic plants of the Lamiaceae family, such as rosemary, perilla, oregano, lemon balm, mint, and basil, as well as medicinal plants like dandelion, purslane, and salvia. Industrially, it is mainly produced from the whole plant of rosemary or perilla leaves through solvent extraction and purification to obtain high-purity rosmarinic acid extract.
