Fumagillin

• Aquaculture Parasite Control : It is also used to prevent and control parasitic diseases caused by microsporidia or myxosporea in fish, protecting economic aquatic crops.

2. Inhibition of Angiogenesis 

In the field of medical research, Fumagillin is a highly renowned angiogenesis inhibitor .

• Cutting Off Tumor Nutrient Supply : The growth and metastasis of malignant tumors heavily depend on the formation of new blood vessels to supply oxygen and nutrients. Fumagillin precisely targets Methionine Aminopeptidase-2 (MetAP-2) in endothelial cells, thereby strongly inhibiting the proliferation and migration of vascular endothelial cells, causing tumors to shrink due to a lack of "logistic supplies."
