    N-Hydroxysuccinimide is a white crystalline solid, sensitive to moisture, soluble in water, readily soluble in acetone, alcohols, and ethyl acetate; slightly soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons, ethers, toluene, and benzene.


    The product tends to clump, and its melting point is 99-100℃.

    It is used in the synthesis of amino acid protecting agents, semi-synthetic kanamycin, and pharmaceutical intermediates. N-Hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) is a white crystalline substance used as a pharmaceutical intermediate in the production of semi-synthetic kanamycin.

    Chemical Properties: White crystalline solid. Melting point 99-100℃.

    Uses: Used as a semi-synthetic antibiotic intermediate;

    Uses: An additive in modified amidation and peptide coupling reactions using the carbodiimide method;

    Used to activate carbonyl groups during amide bond formation.

    Applications: N-Hydroxysuccinimide can be used in the synthesis of amino acid protecting agents, semi-synthetic kanamycin, and pharmaceutical intermediates.
