Phenytoin sodium is an inactive voltage-gated sodium channel stabilizer. Target: Sodium Channel Phenytoin sodium is an antiepileptic drug. Phenytoin is believed to protect against seizures by causing voltage-dependent block of voltage-gated sodium channels .
