Diethylenetriamine (DETA, CAS:111-40-0,EINECS:203-865-4, HS Code:29213010, molecular formula C₄H₁₃N₃, MW:103.17) is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with characteristic ammoniacal odor, produced via ethylene dichloride ammonolysis process followed by multi-stage distillation and purification. Our industrial grade DETA features ≥99.0% minimum purity with strictly controlled moisture and ethylenediamine residual content. It exhibits strong alkalinity, excellent water solubility and low viscosity, containing two primary amine and one secondary amine groups that provide high reactivity with epoxy resins. As the most classic room-temperature epoxy curing agent, it rapidly crosslinks with epoxy groups to form a three-dimensional network structure, delivering excellent mechanical strength, adhesion and chemical resistance. Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 190kg UN certified galvanized iron drums with nitrogen sealing; 1000kg IBC tanks and ISO tank containers available for bulk orders. Store in a cool (≤25℃), dry, well-ventilated Class 8 corrosive liquid warehouse with explosion-proof lighting and ventilation systems. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and carbon dioxide uptake from air, which causes discoloration and quality degradation. Isolate from strong acids, oxidizing agents and food/feed products. Shelf life is 12 months under recommended storage conditions.

Highly corrosive to skin, eyes and respiratory tract; may cause severe burns and allergic reactions. Vapors are harmful if inhaled and may cause respiratory irritation. Operators must wear chemical-resistant gloves, splash-proof goggles, protective clothing and respiratory protection during handling. In case of skin/eye contact, flush immediately with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
