Hydrogenated Soybean Oil (also known as Hardened Soybean Oil / Soy Wax, CAS: 8016-70-4, EINECS: 232-410-2, HS Code: 1516200000) is a white to pale yellow solid flake, block or powder, produced by catalytic hydrogenation of refined soybean oil. We supply food grade, cosmetic grade and pharmaceutical grade products complying with FCC, USP/NF and international quality standards. It features excellent oxidation stability, adjustable melting point, good plasticity and smooth texture, derived from natural plant sources. Applications
Food Industry (Core Application)
Widely used as raw material for margarine, shortening, bakery fats and confectionery products. It improves product texture and plasticity, enhances oxidation stability, extends shelf life, and provides smooth mouthfeel. Produced via full hydrogenation technology, it is an ideal zero-trans fatty acid option for baked goods, snacks, candy coatings and fried food processing.
Pharmaceutical Excipients
Used as lubricant and binder in tablets and capsules with a typical dosage of 1–6% w/w. It reduces powder friction during compression, improves tablet forming performance, and can also be applied as suppository base and sustained-release carrier, complying with USP/NF and major pharmacopoeia standards.
Cosmetics & Personal Care

Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 25kg kraft paper bags with inner PE liner, or 20kg cartons for flake/powder products. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 5–25°C. Keep containers tightly sealed, away from heat sources, strong oxidants and direct sunlight, and avoid stacking with odorous substances. Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin when heated to molten state to prevent scalding. In case of accidental contact with molten product, cool with cold water promptly.
