Core Characteristics: 

1. Physical Properties
A colorless, transparent liquid that is miscible with water and also soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, diethyl ether, and chloroform; it exhibits both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties.
2. Chemical Properties
(1) Polymerization Reactions: It is highly prone to self-polymerization. Under the influence of heat, light, peroxides, or metal ion catalysts, it can undergo homopolymerization to form polyacrylic acid. It can also copolymerize with various monomers such as acrylonitrile and styrene; therefore, polymerization inhibitors must be added during storage and transportation.
(2) Carboxylic Acid Reactions: It reacts with bases to form acrylate salts, undergoes esterification with alcohols to form acrylates, and reacts with ammonia or amines to form acrylamide. It also undergoes typical carboxylic acid reactions such as acylation and amidation.
(3) Double-bond addition reactions: It can be hydrogenated to form propionic acid, undergoes addition with hydrogen chloride to form 2-chloropropionic acid, and reacts with water to form 3-hydroxypropionic acid. It can also undergo Diels-Alder reactions with other unsaturated compounds.
3. Main Applications
(1) Acrylate sector: Used to produce methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, and other products, which are employed in the manufacture of coatings, adhesives, and plastic modification materials, such as water-based coatings, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and modified PVC plastics.
(2) Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) Sector: Used in the manufacture of hygiene products such as disposable diapers, as well as agricultural water-retaining agents and industrial absorbent materials. These polymers can absorb hundreds to thousands of times their own weight in water and exhibit excellent water retention properties.
(3) Detergent Additives Sector: Products such as sodium polyacrylate serve as detergent additives, functioning as dispersants and chelating agents.
(4) Specialty acrylic polymer sector: Used in the production of water treatment agents, textile auxiliaries, leather treatment agents, and papermaking chemicals. For example, polyacrylic acid and its copolymers can serve as scale inhibitors and dispersants in water treatment.
(5) Other sectors: Used as pharmaceutical intermediates, food additives, oilfield chemicals, and more.

The product strictly complies with the GB/T 2961-2014 national standard, accompanied by a complete set of MSDS, commodity inspection reports, and hazardous packaging certificates, and meets EU REACH import and export requirements. Standard packaging includes 200 kg galvanized closed-top steel drums and 1,000 L IBC containers. For large volumes, bulk transport via tank containers is available. Storing and transporting the product in a sealed, light-protected environment effectively delays oxidation and discoloration. Supply is stable and ample, supporting full-container and consolidated shipments for international trade, and meeting global chemical procurement and custom fine chemical production needs.
