Propylene carbonate, abbreviated as PC, is a highly polar, environmentally friendly organic solvent characterized by low volatility, high solubility, and non-toxic, low-irritation properties, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Its core application is in the lithium-ion battery industry, where it serves as the primary solvent in lithium-ion battery electrolytes. It dissolves lithium salts, enhances ionic conductivity, and ensures stable battery discharge performance at both high and low temperatures, making it suitable for production lines of power and energy storage batteries as well as consumer electronics batteries. In the chemical industry, it can serve as an extraction solvent to separate aromatics and olefins, replacing highly toxic substances such as DMF and acetone; it also functions as a decarbonization agent to absorb carbon dioxide from industrial flue gases, aiding in exhaust gas purification. In the coatings and resins industry, when combined with polyurethane and water-based resins, it improves paint film leveling and film-forming properties while reducing VOC emissions. It can also be used as an electronic cleaning agent to remove photoresist and oil stains from printed circuit boards; as a synthetic intermediate in pesticides and pharmaceuticals for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds; and as a processing aid in the rubber and plastics industry to plasticize and soften PVC and rubber products. This substance has a high flash point and is non-flammable, making it suitable for closed-loop continuous production. It has no irritating odor and complies with domestic and international environmental export standards, meeting the requirements of foreign trade orders in the new energy and fine chemicals sectors.

The product strictly complies with the GB/T 2961-2014 national standard, accompanied by a complete set of MSDS, commodity inspection reports, and hazardous packaging certificates, and meets EU REACH import and export requirements. Standard packaging includes 200 kg galvanized closed-top steel drums and 1,000 L IBC containers. For large volumes, bulk transport via tank containers is available. Storing and transporting the product in a sealed, light-protected environment effectively delays oxidation and discoloration. Supply is stable and ample, supporting full-container and consolidated shipments for international trade, and meeting global chemical procurement and custom fine chemical production needs.
