C5 Aliphatic Petroleum Resin (CAS: 68131-77-1, EINECS: 265-116-8, HS Code: 3911900090), also called aliphatic hydrocarbon resin, is a thermoplastic granular resin produced by polymerization of C5 distillate from petroleum cracking. It appears as pale yellow to light amber transparent pellets, odor light, low acid value, excellent miscibility with rubber, EVA, SBS, natural rosin and various polymers. We supply multiple softening point grades (90–110°C) for adhesive, rubber, coating and ink industries, with stable batch color and viscosity performance.

Applications
Hot Melt & Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (Core Application)
Core tackifier for hot melt glue, pressure-sensitive adhesive, label glue and packaging adhesive. It significantly improves initial tack, peel strength and holding power of adhesives, reduces production cost, enhances thermal stability and anti-aging performance of glue system, compatible with EVA, SBS and APAO base materials.
Tire & Rubber Industry
Processing aid and reinforcing tackifier for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, tire tread, rubber hose and conveyor belt. It boosts rubber compound viscosity, improves filler dispersion, increases rubber surface adhesion, softens rubber formula without interfering vulcanization process, optimizes product mechanical strength.
Coating & Paint Industry
Gloss enhancer and adhesion improver for solvent-based industrial paint, anticorrosive coating, road marking paint and latex paint. It elevates paint film gloss, hardness, water & acid resistance, speeds up drying, improves pigment dispersion and leveling performance.
Printing Ink Industry
Binder and brightening agent for offset ink, gravure ink and flexo printing ink. It provides bright color rendering, fast drying speed, good ink transfer performance, improves ink wear resistance and printing clarity, widely used in packaging printing ink production.
Hot Melt Road Marking & Asphalt Modification
Additive for thermoplastic road marking paint, improves paint fluidity, adhesion to road surface and anti-crack performance; also used as asphalt modifier to enhance asphalt toughness and low-temperature flexibility.

Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 25kg woven bags with inner PE liner; 200kg sealed iron drums; 500kg/1000kg FIBC bulk bags for full container orders. Store in cool, dry, ventilated warehouse below 30°C, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature stacking to prevent pellets sticking. Separate from strong oxidants. Shelf life: 24 months under sealed storage.
