97% Diflufenican Technical is a high-efficiency selective pre-emergence herbicide widely applied in wheat, barley, rapeseed and winter cereal crop fields, belonging to carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitor herbicides. After soil application, it can be quickly absorbed by the young shoots and roots of germinating weeds, block the synthesis of carotenoids inside weed cells, cause chlorophyll decomposition, make weed seedlings turn white, wither and die, so as to achieve long-lasting closed weeding effect before weed emergence.

This product shows excellent control effect against a wide range of broad-leaved weeds, including chickweed, lamium, galium aparine, speedwell, shepherd’s purse, poppy and other malignant broadleaf weeds that seriously compete nutrients with cereal crops. It has stable efficacy under low temperature environment in winter, will not lose activity after light frost, and the lasting period of soil sealing can reach 60–90 days after one-time application, effectively reducing the frequency of supplementary weeding and saving labor cost for farmers.

Our factory’s 97% diflufenican technical is produced by advanced closed synthesis and recrystallization purification process. The finished technical material appears as off-white fine crystalline powder, with stable effective ingredient content ≥97%, low related isomer impurities, low moisture and low free acid, fully meeting FAO international pesticide raw material standards. It can be processed into multiple commercial formulations such as suspension concentrate SC, water dispersible granule WDG, oil-based suspension concentrate OD and wettable powder WP, with good emulsification and suspension performance after processing, no precipitation and stratification during long-term storage of finished agents.

Diflufenican has high safety to wheat, barley, rape and other target crops within the recommended dosage range, will not produce phytotoxicity such as leaf whitening, stunted growth and reduced tillering on crops. It can be mixed with many kinds of grass herbicides such as clodinafop-propargyl, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl and other broad-spectrum herbicides to expand the weed control spectrum, simultaneously kill grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds, realize one-time weeding without secondary spraying. It matches all conventional agricultural spraying equipment, and will not block spray nozzles after being diluted with water.

Each batch of products will pass strict laboratory testing including effective content, melting point, moisture, insoluble matter and storage stability.
