    Industrial Grade 90% White Flake Potassium Hydroxide, also known as caustic potash, with fixed CAS No.1310-58-3, is a classic high-strength inorganic strong alkali manufactured via electrolysis of potassium chloride solution, evaporation concentration, flake molding and low-temperature sealing packaging process. Our factory strictly controls impurity removal and dehydration procedures to produce stable 90% purity flaky KOH, which acts as core alkaline raw material for daily chemical, textile, new energy, papermaking and fine chemical industries worldwide.
    The finished product is uniform white translucent flaky solid without peculiar smell, featuring strong water absorption. When exposed to humid air, it will quickly absorb water vapor and deliquesce; when dissolved in water or alcohol, it releases a large amount of dissolution heat and forms high-concentration strongly alkaline solution. Its powerful alkaline hydrolysis and saponification capacity make it irreplaceable in many industrial alkaline reaction systems.
    In daily chemical industry, KOH flake is the key raw material for liquid soap, soft soap and industrial detergent. It conducts saponification reaction with vegetable oil and animal fat to produce mild potassium soap with good solubility, widely used in laundry soap, hand sanitizer and industrial degreasing cleaners. Textile factories adopt potassium hydroxide for cotton fabric mercerizing treatment to enhance fiber luster, tensile strength and dye uptake rate, and remove grease and impurities on textile surfaces.
