      Product Detail

SCHPM branded 99.99% (4N) high purity silver metal with CAS number 7440-22-4 is a premium precious metal base material manufactured through strict electrolytic refining paired with vacuum degassing and multi-stage impurity removal technology. This ultra-high-grade silver raw material has become an indispensable core material for global high-end manufacturing sectors including semiconductor electronics, photovoltaic energy, optical thin film coating, laboratory analytical chemistry, precision brazing and biomedical research, thanks to its unmatched electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and optical reflectivity.
Physically, the product features bright silvery-white metallic luster and excellent ductility and malleability, which allows it to be processed into diverse forms such as ingots, shots, pellets, wires, foils, sheets and ultrafine powder to fit different production and experimental scenarios. Silver boasts the highest electrical and thermal conductivity among all industrial metals, together with an outstanding visible light reflectivity exceeding 95%. However, silver will gradually turn dark grey or black when exposed to air containing sulfur compounds, so specialized inert gas sealed packaging is required for long-term preservation. Chemically, silver is insoluble in pure water and dilute non-oxidizing acids, yet it can dissolve rapidly in dilute nitric acid and hot concentrated sulfuric acid for the synthesis of various high-purity silver salt chemical intermediates.
Our 4N silver metal strictly controls all trace metallic impurities including copper, iron, lead, bismuth and nickel to below 1 ppm individually, with total residual impurities capped at 100 ppm and extremely low oxygen content under 10 ppm. Such rigorous impurity suppression effectively eliminates micro-defects, leakage current and performance attenuation when applied in electronic and optoelectronic devices. In the semiconductor and photovoltaic industry, silver ingots and pellets act as vacuum thermal evaporation sources and sputtering target blanks for depositing conductive thin films on wafers, solar cells and MLCC electronic components. Ultrafine high-purity silver powder serves as the key conductive filler for front-side silver paste of photovoltaic panels and RFID antenna printing ink, greatly enhancing circuit conductivity and welding stability. For optical coating workshops, silver foil and sheets are used to prepare high-reflection optical layers for lenses, LED light sources and optical sensors, delivering stable and uniform light reflection performance.
In precision machinery and electronic component production, silver wire and silver sheet are processed into high-conductivity electrical contact alloys and low-temperature silver brazing solders, which maintain stable conductive performance under frequent switch on-off cycles and resist oxidation at working temperatures. For university laboratories, pharmaceutical research institutes and third-party testing institutions, 4N silver metal is widely adopted as standard reference material for ICP-MS, AAS and atomic absorption spectroscopy calibration, as well as the starting raw material for synthesizing high-purity silver nitrate, silver chloride and silver-based catalytic reagents used in organic synthesis and antibacterial experiments. It also supports biomedical material research for medical device surface antibacterial coating development.
We implement full-process quality inspection for every production batch. Each shipment is accompanied by complete GDMS glow discharge mass spectrometry impurity test reports, official COA certificate of analysis and MSDS material safety data sheet, fully complying with international industrial raw material standards and facilitating overseas customs clearance and factory incoming quality inspection procedures. All finished silver products are packaged with nitrogen-filled vacuum-sealed aluminum bottles and sealed anti-oxidation iron drums to isolate sulfur, moisture and oxygen in the air during long-distance sea and land transportation.
Standard storage guidelines require placing silver products in cool, dry and sulfur-free ventilated warehouses, separated from strong oxidants and sulfur-containing chemical raw materials. Operators must wear disposable lint-free gloves when taking samples to avoid residual fingerprints triggering surface oxidation and discoloration. Although silver metal is not classified as dangerous goods, dust masks are recommended during operations involving ultrafine silver powder to prevent prolonged inhalation of metal dust. Our factory provides flexible order solutions ranging from gram-level small trial samples for lab research to ton-level bulk industrial supply, with stable spot inventory and competitive direct factory pricing to meet the diversified procurement demands of global research institutions and large manufacturing enterprises.

    • 4N ≥99.99% ultra-high purity, single trace impurities (Cu, Fe, Pb, Bi) ≤1ppm, low oxygen content, no interference for electronic coating & analytical testing
    • Multiple customizable shapes (shot/wire/sheet/powder) to match vacuum evaporation, sputtering, smelting and lab weighing demands
    • Produced by electrolytic refining + vacuum degassing process, stable batch impurity index, consistent conductivity performance
    • Hermetic inert nitrogen sealed packaging to prevent surface oxidation and discoloration during transportation & storage
    • Complete supporting documents: GDMS test report, COA, MSDS, industrial dangerous goods shipping certification
