      Product Detail

SCHPM branded high purity Cesium Carbonate with CAS number 534-17-8 is a premium basic inorganic cesium compound manufactured through multiple recrystallization, high-temperature calcination and impurity separation technology, supplied in two core purity grades: 99.9% (3N) industrial catalyst grade and ultra-high 99.999% (5N) electronic optoelectronic grade, widely exported to global optoelectronic factories, university research laboratories, fine chemical synthesis workshops and optical crystal production bases.
This product appears as uniform white crystalline powder or small crystal granules with strong moisture absorption characteristic. When exposed to open air, it rapidly absorbs water vapor and carbon dioxide, which will affect its purity and reaction performance, so airtight inert gas isolation packaging is mandatory for all finished products. Cesium carbonate dissolves quickly in deionized water to generate strongly alkaline aqueous solution, and shows limited solubility in alcohol solvents. Under high temperature heating conditions, it undergoes thermal decomposition to produce cesium oxide and carbon dioxide gas, which is the core reaction route for preparing other high-purity cesium oxide raw materials.
Our 5N ultra-high purity Cs₂CO₃ undergoes rigorous trace element removal treatment, strictly controlling residual sodium, potassium, rubidium and heavy metal impurities down to ppb levels. This ultra-low impurity feature makes it the irreplaceable precursor raw material for perovskite photovoltaic thin films and scintillation crystal growth; tiny trace alkali impurities will cause crystal lattice defects, reduce light conversion efficiency and scintillation signal stability, while SCHPM’s low-impurity cesium carbonate effectively eliminates such defects and improves the yield and performance of optoelectronic finished products.
In organic chemical labs and fine chemical plants, cesium carbonate acts as a high-efficiency mild alkaline catalyst for condensation, alkylation and esterification reactions. Compared with sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate, cesium carbonate possesses stronger catalytic activity under room and medium temperature conditions, requiring less addition amount and generating fewer side reaction byproducts, significantly improving target compound yield and simplifying post-separation purification procedures. It is also the primary raw material for mass synthesis of various high-purity cesium salts including cesium bromide, cesium iodide and cesium nitrate used for optical window and radiation detection equipment.
For optical glass and special ceramic manufacturing, trace cesium carbonate dopant can raise the refractive index and light transmittance of glass products, suitable for high-end camera lens, infrared optical window and precision optical instrument glass production. Research institutes also adopt this material to prepare standard cesium stock solutions for ICP-MS and atomic absorption spectrometer calibration to ensure accurate element detection data.
    • Dual purity options: 99.9% industrial grade and 99.999% electronic grade, ultra-low trace metal impurities (Na, K, Rb, Fe, Pb below ppm level)
    • Strict recrystallization & high-temperature purification process, extremely low heavy metal and alkali metal residual interference
    • Low insoluble residue, free of foreign crystal impurities, guarantees high purity of downstream perovskite and scintillation crystal products
    • Powerful alkaline catalytic activity, less dosage for organic synthesis reaction, high conversion rate
    • Vacuum nitrogen-filled light-proof packaging to avoid deliquescence and deterioration during transport and storage
    • Complete supporting documents: COA, ICP-MS impurity test report, MSDS, customs declaration materials
    • Support gram lab trial samples and ton bulk industrial orders, stable factory spot stock
